After getting the Premium subscription we recommended you to check the following device settings to see if the Background Sync is enabled:
- Check if Background sync is enabled for Sync.ME:
Device Settings > “Mobile network” > “Data usage” > “Network access” > “Advanced network setting” > Tap on Sync.ME > switch on “Background data”.
- Check if local notifications are enabled in the app:
Device Settings > “Notifications”> find Sync.ME > choose “Allow notifications”
*Background App Refresh allows the apps on your device to automatically search for new information even if they are not actively running on the screen.
How to find out if the Background Sync is working:
- In the status bar: you receive notifications that new contacts should be synced.
- When you open the app: you will receive a notification that contacts have been updated. This indicates that new information for your already matched contacts is already synchronized/updated.
