Why do you need a phone number to register?

Providing your phone number is essential for how the Sync.ME Caller ID app works and helps us deliver its core features:

1. Smart contact matching
   Your phone number helps us accurately match and identify contacts, so you can see who’s calling — even when the number isn’t saved on your phone.

2. A unique and secure identifier
   Just like emails or usernames on other apps and social networks, your phone number serves as a unique identifier that helps keep your account secure and personalized.

3. Your personal Sync.ME Profile (ME Card)
   By registering with your phone number, you can create a ME Card. Other Sync.ME users who have your number saved can automatically receive your updated contact details (such as name or photo) whenever you choose to update them.

Your phone number is used to enable these features and improve your experience in the app.
