What is SMS Verification?
When installing Sync.ME or changing a user's registered phone number, Sync.ME might require the user to enter an SMS verification code that will be sent to that phone number by SMS, immediately after registering or updating the phone number. The user will then need to type in the verification code into the app to prove they are owners of the provided phone number.
Why is SMS Verification used?
Sync.ME tries to improve safety and security and tries to make sure phone number ownership is accurate and foul play is avoided.
I didn't get the SMS verification code
Sync.ME will not always ask to enter a verification code: if you've passed the registration stage and can use the app, your'e done. No need to look for the SMS anymore. If your'e stuck in a screen that requires an SMS code input and did not get an SMS with that code from Sync.ME, please contact our support team.
